About the event
Celebrate America 250 by slowing down and trying your hand at the oldest known quilt pattern! In this workshop style class at Wildwood Historic Center, you will take a tour of our Quilts Across Nebraska Exhibit in our historical house, learn the history of Crazy Quilts and learn how to make one of your own. No experience necessary!
Things to know:
* Sign up and Pay at Wildwood Historic Center (420 Steinhart Park Road, Nebraska City)
* Bring your lunch and we will picnic in Wildwood’s Victorian Garden (weather permitting)
* You are welcome to bring your own special sentimental fabric, ribbon, trim, buttons, beads
* No machine sewing – only hand stitches
